On September 28th, local time, the signing ceremony for the Steung Meteuk Cascade Hydroelectric Power Station project in Cambodia took place in Phnom Penh. Mr. Li Yongfa, Chairman of the Steung Meteuk Hydropower Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhou Yuefei, Chairman of our Company, and related personnel was attended the signing ceremony.
The project is located in Kampong Speu Province and Pursat Province, Cambodia, and is divided into three stages of development with a total installed capacity of 150 MW. The second and third stage hydroelectric power stations will have a combined installed capacity of 93MW and consist of concrete dams, intake structures, submerged conduits, diversion tunnels, pressure shafts, penstocks, and on-ground powerhouses. The total length of the diversion system is approximately 4,900 meters.
The Steung Meteuk Cascade Hydroelectric Power Station is Anhe's first hydropower project in Cambodia and the 15th hydropower station undertaken by Anhe overseas. The successful signing of this project contract fully demonstrates the owner's recognition and trust in Anhe's technical and contractual capabilities. It marks an important step in the cooperation between both parties in the hydropower field and further enhances Anhe's brand influence in the overseas hydropower market. Once completed, the project will provide Cambodia with abundant and stable clean energy, and also promoting local economic development.
